Luis Muñoz Rivera Park is located on Barrio Puerta de Tierra in San Juan in front of the Escambrón beach. This park is home to several species of migratory and native birds of Puerto Rico and houses two historical structures, El Polvorín de San Gerónimo and the Batería del Escambrón. Pabellón de La Paz is located on the west side. The sidewalks are decorated with 37 mosaic murals of Venetian glass. Guests of the Luis Muñoz Rivera Park can spend the day throughout the recreational areas for walking, contemplating nature, and resting. The park is also very kid-friendly with play areas, safe sidewalks, and picnic areas for groups and events.
