Last Saturday, August 5, we had our family day at the Condado Lagoon Natural Estuarine Reserve. During the event, we had a mangrove monitoring activity for young people, the installation of 9 plant identification signs by Eagle Scout of the XXV troop of Bayamón, Joaquín Pérez, an ethnobotany workshop, a demonstration of Olympic wrestling, the inauguration of the Mural with conscience, by Resident Artist Angélica Rivera, and finally, a Cine del Estuario presentation.
We thank all the participants who accompanied us and all our collaborators: Our coastal resilience team, Eagle Scout Joaquín Pérez, his family and members of the XXV troop of Bayamón, the Olympic wrestling team Huracanes, of Tras Talleres, with coach Mabel Fonceca, José Ramos, administrator of the Jaime Benítez Park, Lara Medina, coordinator of our resident artist program, Angélica Rivera, our resident artist, and Gostosos products, who delighted us with their delicious meals.
