Estuario Weekly Update

Estuarine greetings! Tomorrow, Saturday, June 1st, is National Paths Day. Celebrate in one of the green spaces of the SJBEP’s Urban Forest Network! Whether it’s on the boardwalk at the Piñones State Forest, the trails of the Doña Inés Park Arboretum or in that natural space near your home. Learn more about the Urban Forest Network at estuario.org/pasaporte.

There is also a self-guided trail in the Condado Lagoon Natural Estuarine Reserve, created by eagle scout Joaquin Perez, Bayamón Troop 25 of the Boy Scouts of America. It contains an informative catalogue of the most common vegetation in the Reserve. Take the opportunity to see it during the Family Day!
