Water Quality Monitoring Day of Puerto Rico Update
Estuario handed out 107 Water Quality Monitoring kits from five distribution stations set up in strategic locations throughout the Island, on Saturday August 15, 2020. The kits were provided following state-mandated COVID-19 physical distancing guidelines to signed-up participants with prior appointment.
The distribution event was made possible in collaboration with the Surfrider Foundation of Rincón, Jobos Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve at Salinas, Estuario’s Resilient Community Hub Taller Comunidad La Goyco in San Juan, and the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA) at Arecibo and Fajardo.
