The campaign aims to promote a standard and culture of environmental responsibility in the multiple commercial and public sectors of the Piñones community. Weekly water quality monitoring
Evaluation conducted on Thursday, December 22, 2022. We have a RED flag for the Condado Lagoon Natural Estuarine Reserve and Balneario El Escambrón. We recommend avoiding direct contact in these areas. Similarly, we recommend avoiding direct contact with any body of water during rainfall events and at least 48 hours afterwards.
The actions for the restoration and management of bodies of water within the San Juan Bay Estuary Watershed are possible thanks to the public. Donations to the San Juan Bay Estuary Program are deductible from Puerto Rico and US tax returns.
