Last Saturday, September 2, 2023, we planted about 830 mangroves in the mangrove adjacent to the Nautical Club in Arecibo. We also collected about 150 pounds of garbage. The event was held in collaboration with Surfrider Foundation Puerto Rico. Thanks to all the volunteers and scientific citizens who joined us!
The San Juan Bay Estuary Partership is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that designs, implements, and provides restorative maintenance in order to improve water quality and ecosystems within the Estuario de la Bahía de San Juan and its basin.
