Saturday, August 21, 2021 – The tenure of Resident Artist Michelle Malley Campos culminates, with the conclusion of the Gran Maratón Artesanal de Transformación de Botellas de Vidrio (Great Artisan Marathon of Transformation of Glass Bottles), a series of handling and reuse of glass workshops for the public of the community of Machuchal, carried out in the inner courtyard of Taller Comunidad La Goyco in Loíza Street, San Juan.
The Great Artisan Marathon was part of the project Qué hacer con tus botellas de vidrio (What to do with your glass bottles), in which Malley carried out workshops on the reuse of glass bottles as a method for the reduction of solid waste in the community, during the summer months of 2021.
