San Patricio Urban Forest is located between the neighborhoods of Villa Borinquen, Caparra Heights, and Borinquen Towers in San Juan. It provides habitat for a wide variety of flora and fauna, including native, exotic and species in danger of extinction. In this forest there is one of only a few limestone hills in the metropolitan area, included within the protected area of the karst study. This forest is of great importance to the community and we owe them the protection of this natural area. San Patricio Urban Forest can be used to plan permaculture, garden centers, planting of trees, maintenance of paths, workshops, yoga, recreational exercises, and campsites.
