We implement the San Juan Bay Estuary Integrated Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP) through eleven programs based on science, education, art, and community engagement. We invite you to explore them according to your area of ​​interest and join our activities.

Community Resilience

ESTUARIO's Community Resilience initiative promotes comprehensive water quality management. Its goal is to foster the economic, social, and cultural development of communities living around the San Juan Bay Estuary without compromising the ecological value of this ecosystem's resources and services, or the development opportunities for future generations. Monitoring and Compliance

With the project for the Identification and Detection of Illegal Discharges from the Estuary, we accurately located areas of high pollution at the sub-basin level throughout the entire watershed of the Estuary in order to correct them.

Estuary Guardians Program

Estuary Guardians is a school program that promotes water quality research and monitoring among students and teachers. This civic engagement program strengthens research skills related to water issues. Additional thematic workshops and special activities are also offered to Guardian groups.
