Support the Estuary with your Refund

Instructions for donating to the Estuary through your form

  1. During this tax filing season, you can donate all or part of your refund to conservation and management efforts for the ecosystems of the San Juan Bay Estuary.
  2. This donation method is possible thanks to the Law 48 of 2009, which establishes the Special Fund for the San Juan Bay Estuary.
  3. Look for the option “Contribution to the Special Fund for the San Juan Bay Estuary” on your form. You'll find it in the line 1B of the boxing “Refund” of your single form (individual).
It's a simple and convenient process. Your contribution makes a difference in protecting our water bodies and biodiversity!

Instructions for donating to the Estuary via ATH Móvil

  1. Open the app ATH Mobile on your mobile device
  2. Select option "Donate" in the main menu.
  3. Search for our organization by typing /Estuary in the search bar.
  4. Enter your donation amount.
  5. Confirm the details and press "Submit".

Electronic Transfer

Instructions for donating to the Estuary via Electronic Transfer

  1. Access your bank's online banking platform or mobile application.
  2. Select the option “Electronic transfer” o “Transfer between accounts”.
  3. Enter the Estuary account details:
    Bank: popular Bank
    Account number: 030697700
  4. Enter your donation amount and confirm the transfer details.
  5. Complete the transaction.

Note: If possible, include a reference such as “Donation to the Estuary” to identify your contribution

Check mail - Money Order

Instructions for donating to the Estuary by Check or Money Order

  1. Issue a check or money order payable to: San Juan Bay Estuary.
  2. In the field of “Memo”You can include the note "Donation" (optional).
  3. Send the check or money order to the following address: San Juan Bay Estuary
    PO Box 9509
    San Juan, Puerto Rico 00908

Note: Make sure the check or money order is properly issued to avoid delays in the process.
