Presentation on microplastics in Atlanta
A special greeting to Alexis Rosado, a student at Inter San Germán, who, along with Dr. Ángela González, analyzed microplastic samples taken during one of the field trips to the Estuary.
Alexis recently presented the study results to students at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Congratulations, Alexis!
Weekly bacteriological monitoring
Evaluation carried out on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. We have Red flag in the Condado Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve. This and another area along the coast did not meet the quality standard, so we recommend avoiding any contact with these areas and being alert for any precipitation events.
Message from your Virtual Community Center
Estuary urges you to download the Community Hurricane Preparedness Guide and follow their recommendations this season. The strength and resilience of your community begins at home. This June, we continue to urge communities to recognize the risks of natural disasters and stay informed during this time.
Take advantage of our information platform, the Virtual Estuary Community Center, where you will find vital information to prepare yourself along with your family and community.
