A big estuarine hug!
This week we begin the series of in-person workshops: Identifying Community Mitigation and Resilience Strategies; for the development of the first Multijurisdictional Risk Mitigation Plan from Puerto Rico. The first workshop was held with collaborators from the communities of Canóvanas on Wednesday, December 8. We thank the community leaders, residents, and especially the Municipality of Canóvanas. for your support in this effort.
We reiterate our commitment to our estuarine communities to prepare and strengthen a more resilient watershed. Continue reading to learn about upcoming workshops.

Mitigation workshops in the municipalities of the Estuary

Information session for Resident Artists
As part of the call for Resident Artists of the Estuary For the 2022 season, we will hold an informational meeting to answer questions and introduce the Program and its team. The meeting will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 6 PM via Zoom.
Friends of the Lagoon
We thank the residents, concessionaires, organizations, and members of the public sector who participated in the Friends of the Lagoon virtual meeting last Tuesday, December 7. Your contributions, suggestions, and observations make possible the conservation, sustainable development, and harmonious use of the natural resources of the Condado Lagoon Estuarine Reserve.
