Estuary Update

Hugs to our estuarine community!

This week marked the end of the 2021 hurricane season. We are relieved that our island did not experience severe impacts from atmospheric events; however, we must remain vigilant. We continue working to build resilience in our communities through training events, the development of green and gray infrastructure, and the creation of the first Multijurisdictional Risk Mitigation Plan in Puerto Rico. Remember that you can find informational materials and resources for your safety and the safety of your loved ones in our Virtual Community Center.

The following activities, opportunities for citizen participation, and calls for proposals are for the benefit of all.
