About this forest:
Luis Muñoz Rivera Park is located in the Puerta de Tierra neighborhood of San Juan, across from Escambrón Beach. This park serves as a habitat for various species of migratory and endemic birds of Puerto Rico. It contains two historical structures within its grounds and adjacent area: the San Gerónimo Powder Magazine and the Escambrón Battery. At the western end is the Peace Pavilion. Its sidewalks feature 37 Venetian glass mosaic murals. Visitors to Luis Muñoz Rivera Park enjoy an aesthetically pleasing recreational experience with areas for walking, nature observation, relaxation, and leisurely strolls. The park also offers a safe and healthy opportunity to spend the day with children. Its playgrounds, safe sidewalks, and picnic areas for events are available to the public.
