The San Patricio Urban Forest is located between the Villa Borinquen, Caparra Heights, and Borinquen Towers residential developments in San Juan. It provides habitats for a wide biodiversity of flora and fauna, including endemic, native, exotic, and endangered species. Within the forest is one of the few limestone hills in the metropolitan area, included in the protected karst study zone. This forest is of great importance to the community, to whom we owe its protection as a natural protected area. It lends itself to activities such as permaculture planting, tree nurseries, tree planting, sidewalk maintenance, workshops, yoga, recreational exercises, and camping.
