Doña Inés Park is an ecological project inspired by the Muñoz-Mendoza family's ideas and insights into the vital relationship between humankind and nature. With over 1,300 plants representing more than 250 species, the park's collections are divided into sections: the Borinquen Forest, the Palm Belt, the Ceiba Cathedral, the Caribbean Forest, Mogotes (limestone hills), the Commemorative Plaza, and a lookout point. It houses the largest collection of threatened and endangered plants in Puerto Rico. The park is ideal for activities such as birdwatching, interpretive tours, herbarium curation, garden maintenance, identification of native and endemic trees, and the creation of walking trails.
