Activities with El Puente Puerto Rico—Latin American Climate Action Link
El Puente Puerto Rico invites entities interested in mitigating the effects of climate change to participate in the Webinar: Commenting on the Climate Change Mitigation, Adaptation and Resilience Plan, on Tuesday, October 24, at 2:00 pm via Zoom.
Materials for citizen participation will be shared and made available, such as a participation guide and a comment template. In addition, common approaches will be discussed and outlined with other organizations, and tasks and activities will be coordinated to foster the greatest possible citizen participation.

Birdwatching and Climate Change Tour:
Estuary and the Bridge invite you to participate in a birdwatching tour, as a prelude to the Puerto Rico walk against climate change, on Saturday, October 28, at 7:30 am in Luis Muñoz Rivera Park.
Join Eliezer Nieves, one of our estuarine birdwatchers, as we walk, see, listen and reflect on these winged organisms, their urban ecosystems and how they are impacted by the effects of climate change.

Weekly bacteriological monitoring
Assessment conducted on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. We have a RED flag for the County Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve. We recommend avoiding areas that exceeded the Beach Action Value water quality standard of 70 CFU/100 ML. Have a great weekend!
