Training Workshop: Christmas Bird Censuses Gamaliel Pagán Hernández
Join us at Christmas Bird Census Training Workshop Gamaliel Pagán Hernández morning Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 10 AM via Zoom. Learn about, count, and record the birds that inhabit the Estuary's ecosystems, from the mountains to the coast. Presented by the Estuary's manager and education coordinator, Eliezer Nieves Rodríguez and Coral Avilés Santiago. The workshop is free of charge. To register, go to HERE.
Illustrate and create your augmented reality filter
They continue workshops on illustration, digitization and assembly of augmented reality filters by the current Estuary Artist-in-Residence, Adriana García. You can join interactive workshops where You can share your progress in the process on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM to 12 PM. through the Facebook page of Taller Comunidad La Goyco.

New signage for the Estuarine Reserve of the County Lagoon
We invite you to take a tour of this area where we have installed new signs to inform you of permitted activities. Remember that in this zone Fishing and capture of species, the use of motor vehicles and light pollution are not permitted. according to Law 112-2013.

Puerto Rico Watershed Symposium 2020
Yesterday, Thursday, December 10th, the Puerto Rico Watershed Symposium 2020 was held. It was a great success! The Estuary thanks the panelists who came together to share their knowledge:

Meléndez-Ackerman from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
