Greetings to our entire estuary community. We send you our warmest regards and hope you are well as you receive this email. We are sharing these initiatives and actions carried out week after week. These activities, tips, and information are for the benefit of all.
Weekly water quality monitoring
We present the results of the weekly water quality monitoring, carried out on Thursday, July 1, 2021. These are published every Friday on our Facebook page.
Series from training workshops: identify risks and vulnerabilities
We continue with the training workshops for the identification of risks and vulnerabilities of the communities in the San Juan Bay estuary watershed.
There are still spaces available for participants from the municipalities of Carolina and Guaynabo.
These workshops aim to prepare you for the process of validating and documenting vulnerabilities that pose a risk to your community in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. They consist of an informational section, followed by a collaborative session where we will identify vulnerabilities in your geographic area with other participants.

You can also use our online tool to identify risks, conditions, and assets around your home. We encourage you to share it with members of your community.

Estuary Cinema
Open-air Estuary Cinema is back!
Tomorrow, Saturday, July 3, 2021 , we will be presenting the movie Moana at the Jaime Benítez Park in the Estuarine Nature Reserve of the Condado Lagoon.

We invite you to access the information platform, the Estuary Virtual Community Center, which provides vital information to help you prepare during the 2021 hurricane season. You will find guides available to share with your family and community.

Puerto Rico Water Quality Monitoring Day 2021
We invite you to register starting next Thursday, July 8, 2021, for the largest citizen science event on the island. Get ready to monitor the water quality of your favorite body of water. Be part of this effort!
Puerto Rico's Water Quality Monitoring Day will be on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Stay tuned for dates for training workshops and kit distribution.
