Call for proposals: Development and execution of a campaign to launch the Estuary sign.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The San Juan Bay Estuary Program (Estuary), a non-profit organization, is seeking professional services to launch a campaign promoting the new Estuary license plate as part of its media and digital efforts. The campaign should support the Estuary's efforts to raise public awareness about the importance of conserving and restoring the water bodies that comprise the San Juan Bay estuary system. These water bodies include San Juan Bay, the Condado Lagoon Estuarine Reserve, the Martín Peña Channel, San José Lagoon, Torrecillas Lagoon, Los Corozos Lagoon, the Suárez Canal, and other waterways within the watershed. The Estuary employs a comprehensive, multi-sectoral strategy to carry out its work within the culturally, economically, and socially vibrant context of the San Juan metropolitan area.   

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Experience in educational campaigns and advertising
  • Experience in effective social media strategies
  • Experience in media buying
  • Flexible, positive attitude, focused on finding solutions and a desire to achieve results
  • Ability to work through stipulated deadlines
  • Capacity for teamwork
  • Bilingual spelling and pronunciation (English and Spanish) 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Present evidence of the execution and effectiveness of past campaign(s)
  • Knowledge, passion and interest in environmental issues and community development
  • Preferably a resident of the San Juan metropolitan area
  • Having the necessary equipment to perform the assigned tasks
  • Work efficiently remotely

COMPENSATION:

The compensation for the contract will be discussed and determined based on the candidate's credentials and experience.

The San Juan Bay Estuary Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that designs, implements, and monitors restoration efforts to improve water quality and associated ecosystems within the San Juan Bay Estuary system and its watershed. Our mission is to restore and conserve the water quality of the Estuary ecosystem as a sustainable driver of social and economic development.
