Gratitude From the public forum: Actions to improve our water quality: complying with the consent agreement
Last Tuesday, October 20, 2020, we held the forum "Actions to Improve Our Water Quality: Compliance with Consent Agreements" via Facebook Live. We were joined by Evelyn Huertas, regional coordinator of the EPA's Caribbean Environmental Protection Division; Engineer Doriel Pagán Crespo and Juan C. Pérez Bofill, executive president and deputy director of compliance and quality control of the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA), respectively; the Honorable Rafael A. Machargo Maldonado, secretary of the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA); and Alexander Ávila, special assistant of the Department of Operations and Beautification of the Autonomous Municipality of San Juan.
We thank the public who attended the event, those who submitted their questions, and the panelists; for their continued commitment to the health of our water bodies, environment, and communities.
