At the Estuario de la Bahía de San Juan Program, we believe art is a fundamental strategy to learn through experience. This year, the Estuario is sponsoring two resident artists for projects centered in adaptation to climate change and inspired by the blue economy. Through creative forms, we involve citizens in the process of creating a resilient hydrographic basin.
The project, Mural con conciencia, aimed to beautify, educate, and raise awareness about protecting the habitat of the Condado Lagoon Natural Estuarine Reserve.

The San Juan Bay Estuary Partership is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that designs, implements, and provides restorative maintenance in order to improve water quality and ecosystems within the Estuario de la Bahía de San Juan and its basin.
