Last Saturday, September 2, 2023, we planted approximately 830 mangroves in the mangrove forest adjacent to the Yacht Club in Arecibo. We also collected about 150 pounds of trash. The event was held in collaboration with Surfrider Foundation Puerto Rico. Thank you to all the volunteers and citizen scientists who joined us!
