Important! No more kits are available for individual groups. This year, all water quality monitoring kits have been allocated, so it will no longer be possible to create new groups or select individual bodies of water. But you can still participate in Water Quality Day! This coming Saturday, April 18, you can join the monitoring at any of the official stations previously identified and coordinated by the Estuary team and volunteers. Materials will be available at these stations while supplies last. Choose the station closest to you and join this great community event. We look forward to seeing you there!

One shirt will be provided per group. Please choose your size:
The selected size cannot be guaranteed. If the chosen size is not available, you will be given a shirt in the closest available size.
The kit is the white cylindrical container with the thermometer sticker on the outside, and the secchi disk (inside) at the bottom of the container.
If you already have a monitoring kit, you will only need to make sure that it has the reagents necessary to measure the four (4) additional parameters.
A reagent set includes: Three glass/plastic tubes, dissolved oxygen measuring tablets, pH measuring tablet, nitrate measuring tablet, and phosphate measuring tablet.

With the help of our co-hosts, we will offer training workshops for participants who wish to learn how to use and handle the water quality monitoring kit, how to report the collected data, and other procedures to follow as part of Water Quality Day 2026. One workshop is sufficient. *Additional training workshops may be added for participants, depending on confirmation with our co-hosts.
