October 21, 2021— As observed today, the Imagine a Day Without Water campaign, part of the US Water Alliance 's Value of Water Campaign , seeks to raise awareness about the importance of prioritizing universal and safe access to water.
Estuario joins this initiative and invites you to imagine a day when we don't have water to drink, cook, or perform other tasks or functions. How would our hospitals or restaurants operate without water, for example?
The worsening climatic conditions caused by global warming have brought this reality to light. Hurricane Maria, for example, highlighted the need to invest in new systems for distributing and managing this resource, one of the focuses of this initiative.

You can be part of the restoration and conservation efforts for the interconnected bodies of water that make up the San Juan Bay estuary watershed. The health of these bodies of water and their ecosystems directly impacts the quality of life of the people who live around them.
