ABOUT THIS FOREST:

Doña Inés Park is an ecological project inspired by the Muñoz-Mendoza family's ideas and appreciation of the important relationship between humans and nature. It has more than 1,300 plants from over 250 species, with collections divided between the Bosque Borinqueño, Cinturón de las Palmas, Catedral de Ceibas, Bosque Caribeño, Mogotes, Plazoleta Commemorativa, and a lookout point. It houses the widest collection of endangered and threatened plants in Puerto Rico and offers birdwatching, interpretive tours, herbal healing, maintenance of gardens, identification of native trees, and creation of trails.
