A warm greeting from the estuary! Summer is in the air, bringing with it new opportunities to learn, explore, and take action for the health of our waters. This week, we continue connecting you with the estuary's ecosystems through educational experiences, monitoring, and activities that strengthen our commitment to the environment.
Educational Snorkeling Tour at Playita del Condado
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, connect with life beneath the water's surface on the Snorkeling Tour at Playita del Condado, at 4:30 pm within the Condado Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve. Join us to explore the marine biodiversity and ecosystems that make the Reserve a unique place. We look forward to seeing you!

Weekly bacteriological monitoring
Assessment conducted on Thursday, June 19, 2025. We have a GREEN flag for County Lagoon. We recommend avoiding the area that exceeded the "Beach Action Value" water quality parameter for enterococci of 70 CFU/100 ML. Remember to avoid the water during rain events.
