Estuary Update!
To all our volunteers, collaborators, followers, and the entire estuary community, we hope you are well upon receiving this email. The Estuary invites you to participate in the following activities scheduled for next week. We are also sharing the initiatives and actions carried out this week. These activities, tips, and information are for the benefit of everyone.
Estuary Citizen Scientist Workshops
Last Wednesday, July 22, 2020, the virtual workshop entitled: From Solid Waste to Microplastics: Legislation and Opportunities with the coordinator of alliances and aquatic waste projects of the Estuary, Cristina Ramírez and the Engineers Hanna Rodríguez and Laura Lugo, members of the Caribbean-Puerto Rico chapter of the Solid Waste Association of America (SWANA), whose reception had a total of 118 participants.

El Puerto Rico Water Quality Monitoring Day It is approaching, for the 29th August 2020. Adopt a body of water and participate in the largest citizen science event on the Island.
Also participate in the Training Workshop scheduled for this coming Wednesday, July 29, 2020 and learn about the tools and protocols to carry out your monitoring.
