Weekly water quality monitoring

We thank the 149 participants who attended the open meeting yesterday , Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 6:00 pm, to discuss the projects and opportunities scheduled for 2021, in accordance with the San Juan Bay Estuary Conservation and Management Plan . We had the opportunity to answer questions live and present this year's projects and initiatives.

Call for Proposals: Boat Travel Service for Scientific Research
There are two days left to submit your proposals for boat trips in San Juan Bay and connected waterways. Send your proposal to [email protected] on or before Sunday, February 21, 2021. Learn more HERE.
A new round of Citizen Scientist Certification begins
Participate in the new series of workshops for the Estuary Citizen Scientist Certification. Learn about the three modules and join the introductory workshops to become a certified citizen scientist. We will be presenting the following topics:
- Introduction to participatory bird censuses – Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 3-4 PM.
- Introduction to water quality monitoring – Wednesday, March 10, 2021, 3-4 PM.
- Introduction to microplastics and other aquatic debris – Wednesday, March 17, 2021, 3-4 PM.
