Beyond Plastic
Estuary has collaborated with Beyond Plastics, Syracuse University Center for Sustainable Community Solutions y Circular Change/Generation to bring you training on the plastic problem on our island and how we can make a change through community efforts and public policy. Art workshop at the Estuary Visitor Center
Last Thursday, March 31, 2022, Estuary Resident Artist Faviana Silva conducted an art workshop at the Estuary Visitor Center in Old San Juan as part of her project, Art for everyone. Young people from the Rayitos del Saber Homeschooling group attended the workshop. These young people will exhibit their work on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Jaime Benítez Park.
Weekly Water Quality Monitoring
Results of the evaluation performed Thursday, April 7, 2022. We continue with green flag For the County Lagoon Estuarine Reserve, we are reporting a red flag zone. Therefore, we recommend avoiding recreational use in that area and being alert for precipitation events.
