Contract opportunities

Presentation of the educational campaign Leave a clean footprint in Piñones

On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, the non-profit organization LimPiaR launched the "Leave a Clean Footprint" educational campaign at a meeting with business owners from the Piñones community and the Municipality of Loíza. The campaign's mission is to promote a standard and culture of environmental responsibility across the various commercial and public sectors of the Piñones community. Learn more about the educational campaign here: https://dejaunahuellalimpia.com

Weekly bacteriological monitoring

Assessment conducted on Thursday, December 22, 2022. We have a RED flag in the Condado Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve and at El Escambrón Beach. We recommend avoiding direct contact with these areas. Likewise, we recommend avoiding direct contact with any body of water during rain events and for at least 48 hours afterward.

The restoration and water quality management efforts in the San Juan Bay estuary watershed are made possible by our supporters. Donations to the Estuary are tax-deductible in Puerto Rico and the United States.
