At the Estuario de la Bahía de San Juan Program, we believe art is a fundamental strategy to learn through experience. This year, the Estuario is sponsoring two resident artists for projects centered in adaptation to climate change and inspired by the blue economy. Through creative forms, we involve citizens in the process of creating a resilient hydrographic basin.
The project, Mural con conciencia, aimed to beautify, educate, and raise awareness about protecting the habitat of the Condado Lagoon Natural Estuarine Reserve.

Since 2019, Estuario has sponsored several projects by artists focused on the adaptation to climate change and the creation of blue economy. Through creative ways, we engage citizens in the process of achieving a resilient watershed.
