On Friday, September 22, 2023, we carried out a trip through the Piñones State Forest with 66 students from the Montessori School of Puerto Rico. The youth learned about the ecosystem, how the forest connects to the estuary, and the importance of keeping it healthy in a sustainable way. Below, photos of the trip:
The San Juan Bay Estuary Partership is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that designs, implements, and provides restorative maintenance in order to improve water quality and ecosystems within the Estuario de la Bahía de San Juan and its basin.
