On Saturday, September 30, 2023, a group of young people committed to nature conservation and their families came together to carry out a significant planting activity at San Gerónimo Beach in the Condado Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve. These environmental enthusiasts planted a total of 575 mangroves, contributing to the restoration and preservation of this coastal ecosystem. With the assistance of our Coastal Resilience Activities Coordinator, Andreína Alexatos, the participants learned about the importance of mangroves and how their direct action could have a positive impact on local biodiversity.
