This coming Saturday, September 18th from 9am-11am , we are joining the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2021 , led by Scuba Dogs Society and in turn by the international organization Ocean Conservancy.
The Estuary continues to adopt the County Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve (RNELC) and will continue to be the coast captains on the East and South sides, as in previous years. We will take this opportunity to kick off our National Estuary Week , which will be held from September 18-25, 2021.
This year, for safety and protocol reasons, the event organizers will limit the number of volunteers to 40 per coast. We remain committed to being responsible given the current situation and safeguarding the health of our volunteers.
All participants must register individually. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and register separately.
