This next Saturday, September 18th, 9am-11am, we join in participating in the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2021, led by the Scuba Dogs Society and in turn by the Ocean Conservancy organization internationally.
The Estuary continues to adopt the County Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve (RNELC) and the coast captains on the East and South sides, as in previous years. We will take this opportunity to begin our National Estuaries Week, which will be held from September 18-25, 2021.
This year, for safety and protocol reasons, the event organizers will limit the number of volunteers to 40 per coast. We remain committed to being responsible given the current situation and safeguarding the health of our volunteers.
All participants must register individually. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and register separately.
