Search for rates or proposals for boat travel services through the San Juan Bay Estuary during the period from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020
The San Juan Bay Estuary Program is in the process of updating and seeking proposals or fare schedules for boat trips on the waterways of the San Juan Bay Estuary, which includes, among others:
Western part:
San Juan Bay, San Antonio Canal, West of the Martín Peña Channel, Mouth of the Piedras River, El Morro Inlet/Bay Entrance, La Esperanza Area
East side:
San José Lagoon/Los Corozos, Suárez Canal, Mouth of the Juan Méndez and San Antón streams, La Torrecilla Lagoon, Boca de Cangrejo, Blasina Canal
The activities for which we request the service include:
- Water quality monitoring project
- Guided trips for educational and ecotourism purposes
- Addressing potential pollution problems
- Fish mortality events
- Scientific studies (bathymetry, bird census, fish census, others)
- Trips to the Estuary ecosystem as part of the implementation of the entity's comprehensive management and conservation plan
This call for proposals and price lists is open until July 1, 2019.

What you should include in your proposal or price list: Name, contact phone number, cost per person or per trip, maximum number of people who can travel on your vessel, areas included, maximum amount of time included in your rate, place or sector from where your boat departs.
When submitting it by email, you must include the phrase ESTUARY TRAVELS in the email's subject line.
