Join the Community Water Network 

The Estuary invites you to participate and collaborate in the Community Water Network (RCA).

We thank each of the residents and leaders who have participated in this network since its inception. They have been instrumental in the restoration projects and the building of resilient communities in the San Juan Bay Estuary watershed. Estuary Artist in Residence

This week we completed the workshops on illustration, digitization and assembly of augmented reality filters by the current Resident Artist of the Estuary, Adriana García.

We thank the participants and other collaborators of the project, as well as those who opened the doors of their community: La Goyco Community Workshop and La Cienaga Workshop. We hope that this platform and shared artistic tools have been to your liking and benefit.

Weekly water quality monitoring

We present the results of the weekly water quality monitoring, Conducted on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Results published for our Facebook page.

New signage for the Estuarine Reserve of the County Lagoon

We have completed the signage throughout the Condado Lagoon Estuarine Nature Reserve. Remember that in this area Fishing and capture of species, the use of motor vehicles and light pollution are not permitted. according to Law 112-2013.

Merchants join waste reduction initiative on Loíza Street

This week, participating businesses were recognized for the project “"It shouldn't touch the ground or reach the water; an initiative to improve solid waste management on Loíza Street." organized by the Estuary in close collaboration with the Goyco Community Workshop and the Clean Machuchal Committee.

The Estuary thanks the artist and neighbor Yolanda Velázquez, for the art and visual design of this campaign, and the neighbor, cultural manager and community liaison of the project, Iliana García, for their commitment and performance in the Machuchal community and Loíza Street.
