The San Juan Bay Estuary Program (SJBEP) and its not-for profit organization, the Corporation for the Conservation of the San Juan Bay Estuary requests proposals from qualified firms and/or individuals for the creation and maintenance for a period of approximately seven (7) months of an educational aquarium exhibit.
General Scope of Work
The educational aquarium exhibit will be an integral component of the SJBEP visitor center located in Old San Juan. The aquarium should represent tropical aquatic ecosystems found in the San Juan Bay Estuaries such as mangroves, seagrasses, coral communities and it associated fauna & flora. The aquarium should represent one or various but not limited to the aforementioned ecosystems. Also, the exhibits should be compact and mobile but attractive and informative at the same time. The contract should include the maintenance of the aquarium exhibit for a period of approximately seven (7) months after creation.
Funding level: $ 6,900
An Informative Meeting will be held on February 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in San Juan Bay Estuary Program offices located in San Francisco Street, Building 265 in Old San Juan. This is a mandatory meeting for a Proposal to be accepted. It will be the an opportunity to directly discuss, clarify and further define with the SJBE Program staffs any questions regarding the Request for Proposal scope of work.
